The simple ideas in this easy-to-read book can help you change the world. Really! If you already know a lot about the environment, share this eBook with leaders and teachers where you live. They need this information too.

Earth’s Forgotten Secrets provides the kind of explanations and hope we all need. It begins with a forgotten idea. We are part of nature, not “apart” from it (or better than it). Nature (the environment) provides the air we breathe and the foods and medicines we need to survive. What we do to the environment, we do to ourselves…for good or bad.

Even if you struggle with science, I guarantee you can understand the ideas in this free eBook. Best of all, the “secrets” are nonpolitical tools for making good decisions. I can say that because they’re based on laws no person or court can overturn. Call them laws of nature, laws of science, or God’s laws. Like the law of gravity, they came with the planet. We’re stuck with them. Taken together, they explain how carbon from excessive use of fossil fuels is causing warmer temperatures, which is melting polar ice which is raising sea levels which is already harming communities, homes, and even forests in coastal areas. All that carbon is mixing with ocean water making it more acidic, more vinegar-like. That’s not good for tiny plants that provide 50 percent of our oxygen. Bottom line, carbon threatens the supply chains that provide our air, water, and food–our very survival. What we do to nature, we do to ourselves.

All is not gloom and doom. There are better ways to live our lives. Thinking about the “secrets” is the key to preventing new problems. Prevention begins by turning the “secrets” into questions. For example, “Where does – plastic – a hoodie – a shoe – gasoline/petro come from and where is it going?” (You’ll learn that there is no such place as “away” – as in throw it “away” or it’s “gone.” Nothing is ever “gone.”) You’ll discover that all things are connected. One change can trigger others. (We can never do just one thing.) Let’s think through things to make sure changes do not have unintended (negative) consequences. As for gas/petrol powered cars, only $3.00 of our money out of $10.00 turns the wheels. The rest makes the engine hot. We are throwing our money away when we drive such cars. Physic teachers point to a Law of Thermodynamics to explain this, not poor engineering. When others say, “I don’t care,” let’s encourage them to turn that into a question. “Why should I care?” Smart phones can help provide answers. With this information, we can all make better decisions. I think Einstein would view the “secrets” as a new way of thinking that can make the world better…one person and one community at a time!

There are no publicity funds for the eBook. If you like it, I hope you’ll download the eBook and encourage others to do the same. Thank you!
